Care & Maintenance Tips
Kanvish products require regular care and maintenance to remove contaminants caused by pollution, industry, salt, dust and climatic conditions. Regularly clean tracks, hinges and surfaces with a soft cloth and mild detergent to keep your security doors, blinds, curtains and shutters performing and looking their best.
Security Doors
Clean frames with mild soap and water. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. Lubricate hinges and locks regularly. Check and replace weatherstripping as needed. For mesh, gently brush away debris and rinse with water.
Blinds & Shutters
Dust regularly with a soft brush or microfiber cloth. For venetian blinds, close slats and dust both sides. Roller and cellular blinds should be vacuumed gently. Avoid excessive moisture. Wipe tracks clean to ensure smooth operation.
Curtains
Vacuum curtains regularly with an upholstery attachment. For stains, use a mild soap and water solution. Check that tracks are clean and free from debris. Ensure curtains hang evenly. Professional dry cleaning is recommended annually.
